The Prefect of Galați County, George Toderașc, revisited the building on Saturday to assess the progress of implemented measures and the condition of residents impacted by the recent drone incident.
According to the Galați Prefecture, expert teams completed necessary evaluations and determined that the building is safe for occupancy. Concurrently, representatives from Electrica are working to restore electricity as residents begin to return home.
The Prefect engaged with representatives from involved institutions, ensuring that the measures for returning to normalcy are properly executed.
“So far, 27 out of the 40 apartments have been reconnected to the power supply, with the process set to continue as more residents return. I will keep monitoring the situation closely and maintain constant communication with all involved institutions to ensure that the transition back to normalcy is safe for all residents of the building,” stated George Toderașc, Prefect of Galați County.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation and perform necessary interventions to assist residents affected by the incident.
