Escalation of Ukrainian Attacks
In recent weeks, Ukraine has increased its attacks on various targets within Russia, aiming to weaken Moscow’s war efforts. Energy installations have been identified as legitimate targets for such operations.
The most recent attack by Ukraine occurred on July 9, targeting the Ilsky oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar region. Prior to this, the Saratov oil refinery was hit on July 8, causing a halt in production.
As a result, Russia has imposed export bans, leading to price hikes and sales restrictions nationwide.
