Over 70 Leadership Roles Available
The Ministry of Health has announced the availability of 29 leadership positions within the county public health departments, alongside 42 general manager roles for the Bucharest–Ilfov Ambulance Service and county ambulance services. Additionally, competitive examinations will be held to fill the roles of president and vice president at the National Agency for Health Infrastructure Development (ANDIS), as well as the director general position at the National Blood Transfusion Institute “Prof. Dr. C.T. Nicolau” (INTS), according to a press release from the Ministry of Health.
Leadership Changes in Seven Key Hospitals and Institutes
Simultaneously, the administrative councils of several healthcare units under the ministry’s authority will initiate selection procedures to appoint new managers.
The facilities undergoing these changes include the Zam Psychiatric Hospital, Borșa Recovery Hospital, “Sfântul Pantelimon” Emergency County Hospital in Focșani, “N.N. Săveanu” Hospital in Vidra, the National Institute of Endocrinology “C.I. Parhon,” the National Institute of Pneumology “Marius Nasta,” and the Clinical Emergency Hospital for Plastic, Reconstructive, and Burns Surgery.
Interim Minister Cseke Attila: “A Strong System Requires Stability”
Interim Health Minister Cseke Attila emphasized the importance of stability in the healthcare system, noting that many key institutions have operated with interim leadership in recent years.
“In recent years, several strategic institutions in public health have been managed on a temporary basis or have had vacant leadership positions. A robust healthcare system requires not only investments and resources but also stability. Through these competitive exams, we are taking a significant step towards strengthening healthcare management,” stated interim Minister Cseke.
